I sit underneath a streetlight on a rough park bench, and I look for beautiful things. I observe miniscule water droplets on rusted metal and fallen leaves. I see the morning sky, soft and blue. I row my grandfather's canoe leisurely through the meandering waterways, flowing effortlessly amidst the seemingly never ending network of greenery. All around me is lush foliage in the form of vines, grasses, and most notably, trees.They stand out of the murky water tall and stoic, like bark clad soldiers.
